SUBJECT:
Ord 1904: An Ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ankeny, Iowa, by amending provisions pertaining to water rates.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The ordinance under consideration raises water rates by nine and a half percent, effective April 1, 2017.  The increase is necessary to fund the 10% rate increase in wholesale water purchased from Des Moines Water Works and local infrastructure projects planned in the 2017 Capital Improvement Program.
