Consider motion to approve the issuance of liquor license(s) and/or beer / wine permit(s) in the City of Ankeny. 

In accordance with the Iowa Code Section 123.1 and the City of Ankeny Code of Ordinances Chapter 130, "Liquor Licenses and Wine and Beer Permits," the following license(s) have been investigated and reviewed by the Ankeny Police Department, and when necessary, by Planning & Building and/or Fire Department staff, and are presented to the City Council for approval. Copies of license and/or beer applications are available, for your review, in the Office of the City Clerk.

1.  Best Food in Town, Inc. d/b/a Yanni's Grill & Vineyard #2, 410 S. Ankeny Blvd. – Class C Liquor License (LC) w/Sunday sales (Renewal) – Effective Date:   April 5, 2017.

2. City of Ankeny d/b/a Hawkeye Park Concession Stand, 504 West First St. - Class B Beer Permit (BB) w/Outdoor Service, Sunday sales (Renewal) - Effective Date: April 10, 2017.

3. Tokyo Huang Inc. d/b/ca Tokyo Steakhouse, 113 SE Delaware Ave. - Class C Liquor License (LC) w/Sunday sales (Renewal) - Effective Date: April 2, 2017.

4. Crankie's, Inc. d/b/a Wheel House Pizza Pub, 106 SW State St. - Class C Liquor License (LC) w/Sunday sales (Renewal) - Effective Date: April 2, 2017.

5. Whiskey House, LLC d/b/a The Whiskey House, 2510 SW White Birch Dr. Suite 8 & 9 - Outdoor Service for their Class C Liquor License (LC) which was approved March 7, 2016 with an effective date of September 30, 2016 due to construction delays. (NEW) Effective Date: March 21, 2017.

The City of Ankeny will receive a portion of each application fee in accordance with Iowa Code Section 123.143.
