SUBJECT:
Consider motion to approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement increasing the contract amount by $1,650.00 with SVPA Architects, Inc., for engineering design services on the Fire Station No. 3 project.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

SVPA and Snyder & Associates are completing the site design for the new fire station.  During the design process, staff decided that a separate driveway needs to be constructed on the north side of the fire station site. This driveway will allow access to the ASR well head located nearby.  This driveway was not included in the original scope of the project, and will require extra survey work by Snyder & Associates. 

 

It is recommended that the City Council approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with SVPA Architects in the amount of $1,650.00 so that the needed driveway is included in the project. 

FISCAL IMPACT: Yes
This amendment is well within the budgeted amount for the design services of the fire station.
