SUBJECT:
Consider motion to adopt RESOLUTION setting a public hearing on a development agreement between the City of Ankeny & Perishable Distributors of Iowa, LTD.  (date of hrg: 7/31/17 @ 5:30 p.m.)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Perishable Distributors of Iowa, LTD (PDI) is proposing an approximately 108,000 square foot expansion to their current facility located at 2741 SE PDI Place. 
FISCAL IMPACT: Yes

The amount and term of property tax rebates has not been determined.  Total assessed valuation for this project is expected to be approx. $6.5 million.
CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS:
To approve setting the public hearing on a development agreement for July 31, 2017.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL/COMMISSION/BOARD ACTION(S):
PDI completed a small expansion for an upgrade to their refrigeration equipment in 2010.  They are current and in compliance with the terms of this pervious agreement.
PUBLIC OUTREACH EFFORTS:
A public hearing will be held on July 31.
