Consider motion to approve the issuance of liquor license(s) and/or beer / wine permit(s) in the City of Ankeny. 

In accordance with the Iowa Code Section 123.1 and the City of Ankeny Code of Ordinances Chapter 130, "Liquor Licenses and Wine and Beer Permits," the following license(s) have been investigated and reviewed by the Ankeny Police Department, and when necessary, by Planning & Building and/or Fire Department staff, and are presented to the City Council for approval. Copies of license and/or beer applications are available, for your review, in the Office of the City Clerk.

1.  Casey's Marketing d/b/a Casey's General Store #2785, 1602 W First St. – Class C Beer Permit (BC) w/Sunday sales (Renewal) – Effective Date:   September 6, 2017.

2. Your Private Bartender, LLC d/b/a Your Private Bartender, 715 SW Ankeny Blvd. - Class C Liquor License (LC) w/outdoor service (NEW/Special Event) - Effective Date: August 29, 2017.

3. Whiskey River on Vintage, Inc. d/b/a Whiskey River, 1350 SW Vintage Pkwy. - Expanded Outdoor Service area for special event, August 25th and 26th.

4. The Other Place - Ankeny Inc. d/b/a The Other Place, 2010 SE Delaware Ave. Suite 260 - Class C Liquor License (LC) w/Outdoor Service, Sunday Sales (NEW) - Effective Date: August 14, 2017.

The City of Ankeny will receive a portion of each application fee in accordance with Iowa Code Section 123.143.
