In accordance with the Iowa Code Section 123.1 and the City of Ankeny Code of Ordinances Chapter 130, "Liquor Licenses and Wine and Beer Permits," the following license(s) have been investigated and reviewed by the Ankeny Police Department, and when necessary, by Planning & Building and/or Fire Department staff, and are presented to the City Council for approval. Copies of license and/or beer applications are available, for your review, in the Office of the City Clerk.
1. Jade Garden, LLC d/b/a Jade Garden Restaurant & Lounge, 602 N. Ankeny Blvd. – Class C Liquor License (LC) w/Sunday sales (Renewal) – Effective Date: October 8, 2017.
2. Hy-Vee, Inc. d/b/a Hy-Vee Clubroom, 410 N Ankeny Blvd. - Special Class C Liquor License (BW) w/Sunday sales (Renewal) - Effective Date: October 1, 2017.
3. T-Ankeny, LLC d/b/a Tanners Bar & Grill, 1975 N Ankeny Blvd. - Class C Liquor License (LC) w/Sunday sales (NEW) - Effective Date: October 1, 2017.
4. Firetrucker LLC d/b/a Firetrucker Brewery, 716 SW 3rd St. - Class B Beer Permit (BB) - Expanded Outdoor Service area for Special Event on September 23, 2017.
5. Cabaret Ankeny, LLC d/b/a Cabaret, 2785 N Ankeny Boulevard - Class C Liquor License (LC) w/Outdoor Service, Sunday sales (Renewal) - Effective Date: October 2, 2017.
6. Your Private Bartender, LLC d/b/a Your Private Bartender, 715 SW Ankeny Road - Class C Liquor License (LC), will be catering a VIP Reception at On With Life, 715 SW Ankeny Blvd. for 50 guests until 5:59. At 6:00 the license will transfer to the FFA building, 1055 SW Prairie Trail Parkway for an event until 10:00 p.m. on September 29, 2017. City staff has reviewed the request and recommends allowing the temporary transfer of liquor license. |
