SUBJECT:

Consider motion to adopt RESOLUTION increasing the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) positions authorized for fiscal year 2018 from 268.42 to 269.42.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The Planning and Building Department has seen two of its more experienced planners leave the organization for various reasons.   In addition, another will be leaving for six to seven months for military duty. 

 

Based on these unique circumstances, management is recommending adding one full-time planner position to the FY 2018 table of organization.
FISCAL IMPACT: Yes

The cost of adding one full-time planner position will be minimal due to the long-term vacancy.
