The action before the City Council is the adoption of a Resolution approving and authorizing the acquisition of property and property interests for the NW Irvinedale Drive and NW 5th Street Intersection Improvements project. The City is undertaking the design of the project at this time. The project will provide increased traffic capacity and mobility at the intersection, along with safety improvements to the north of the intersection, and includes a full reconstruction of NW Irvinedale Drive and NW 5th Street in the vicinity of the intersection.
Fee title, permanent sanitary sewer easement, permanent sidewalk easement and temporary construction easement will need to be acquired for the construction of the public improvement. This project is anticipated to be constructed during 2018. In order to preserve the construction schedule, the property acquisition process needs to begin at this time. |
