Proposed NE Delaware Avenue Pedestrian Bridge and Sidewalk Connection Project

Public Hearing to Authorize the Acquisition of Property and Property Interests
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The action before the Council is to hold a Public Hearing to allow affected property owners the opportunity to present their views regarding the proposed acquisition of property and property interests for the NE Delaware Avenue Pedestrian Bridge and Sidewalk Connection project.  Further action includes consideration of a Resolution approving the commencement of the public improvement including negotiations to facilitate the acquisition of easements for the project.

CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS:
Approve Resolution authorizing the acquisition of property and property interests for the NE Delaware Avenue Pedestrian Bridge and Sidewalk Connection project.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL/COMMISSION/BOARD ACTION(S):
November 6, 2017:  Council authorized setting the date for the Public Hearing as December 4, 2017.
PUBLIC OUTREACH EFFORTS:
Legal publication and Notice of Intent to Commence a Public Improvement Project was mailed to affected property owners as required by law.

Action: Consider motion to close Public Hearing 2017-57.
