Civil Design Advantage completed the design of the SE East Lawn Area Utility Improvements which was bid locally on January 30, 2018 and SE Peterson / SE Trilein Storm Sewer Improvements which was bid locally on February 13, 2018. The Public Works Department proposes to continue using Civil Design Advantage for limited construction engineering services for the projects. 

The scope of the construction engineering services and the corresponding fees are shown in the attached Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement.  A copy of the original Professional Services Agreement is also attached for reference.

The fee for the additional engineering services is $25,991.00.  The original Professional Services Agreement for design engineering services is $109,316.00.  Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement, approved on November 20, 2017, increased the contract amount to $116,666.00.  Adding Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement increases the total contract amount to $142,657.00.

It is recommended that the City Council approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Civil Design Advantage in the amount of $25,991.00 for the SE East Lawn Area Utility Improvements - Phase 1 and SE Peterson / SE Trilein Storm Sewer Improvements project.
