SUBJECT:
Ord 1938: An Ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ankeny, Iowa, by amending provisions pertaining to water rates.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The ordinance under consideration raises water rates by 5 percent, effective April 1, 2018.  The increase is necessary to fund the 7 percent increase in wholesale water purchased from Des Moines Water Works and local infrastructure projects planned in the 2018 Capital Improvement Program.
