Ankeny Market Pavilion Restroom:  Consider motion to approve: a)  Certificate of Completion; b) RESOLUTION accepting the public improvement with the Public Restroom Company in the amount of $193,530.00; and c)  Release of Retainage in the amount of $9,676.49.

The actions before the Council are the acceptance of the Certificate of Completion, passage of a Resolution accepting the public improvements and approval of the retainage payment to the Public Restroom Company for the Ankeny Market Pavilion Restroom Project. 

This project was completed in January of this year, after the final payment was made on December 18, 2017 and the contractor completed some minor punch list items.  The actions at this time will facilitate the release of the retainage to the contractor.  This includes the resolution accepting the public improvements and releases the retainage in the amount of $9,676.49.

It is recommended that the Council take the following actions:

1. Accept the Certificate of Completion from the project engineer for the Ankeny Market Pavilion Restroom project.

2. Adopt the Resolution accepting the Ankeny Market Pavilion Restroom project with the Public Restroom Company in the final contract amount of $193,530.00.

3. Authorize the release of retainage payment in the amount of $9,676.49, in accordance with the terms of the contract.
