The action before the Council is the adoption of a resolution regarding the SE Creekview Drive Utility Improvements project which involves ordering construction, setting a public hearing date on the Contract Documents (plans, specifications, form of contract), and estimated total cost and setting a date for the filing of bids on the project.
The project is located on SE Creekview Drive, south of East First Street in the City of Ankeny, Iowa. The project scope is to construct approximately 3,650 LF of 12” C900 water main, with associated valves, hydrants, services, connections, and removals; and to construct roadway culvert replacements, including 60 LF of 36” RCP with aprons, 348 LF of 72” RCP with aprons, 96 LF of 29” x 18” RCAP with aprons, 136 LF of 52” x 32” RCAP with aprons, 56 LF of 65” x 40” RCAP with aprons; with associated clearing and grubbing, culvert and headwall removals, Class A Roadstone resurfacing, rip rap, erosion control, traffic control, and staging items. This project requires some evening and weekend work. |
