Consider motion to adopt RESOLUTION providing for the notice and hearing of the City Council of the City of Ankeny, Iowa, to consider amending provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 193, of the Municipal Code of the City of Ankeny, Iowa, regarding Flood Plain Regulations. (date of hrg: 1/21/19 @ 5:30 p.m.)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
An amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 193, of the Municipal Code of the City of Ankeny, Iowa, superseding the current provisions of Chapter 193 regarding Flood Plain Regulations. The updated provisions in this chapter are required to maintain the City of Ankeny's participation eligibility in the National Flood Insurance Program, in accordance with the updated FIRMs effective February 1, 2019.
