The action before the City Council is the approval of a Professional Services Agreement with Foth Infrastructure and Environment, LLC for the design and bidding phase services needed for the 2019 North Creek Channel Flood Repair Project.
The scope of the project includes the design for the construction of channel repairs to North Creek downstream of the box culvert under NW Irvinedale Drive. These improvements will repair the areas damaged by the extreme flash flooding event that occurred on June 30, 2018.
The design for the project needs to be undertaken at this time so that the project schedule can be maintained. The Public Works Department proposes to use Foth Infrastructure and Environment, LLC to complete the necessary design and bidding phase services for the project because they have the technical experience needed for this project. The scope of the engineering services and corresponding fees for the services are shown in the attached Professional Services Agreement. The total fee for the engineering services is $35,650.00.
It is recommended that the City Council approve the Professional Services Agreement with Foth Infrastructure and Environment, LLC. |
