SUBJECT:
Consider motion to adopt a RESOLUTION accepting a purchase agreement and approving documents for the acquisition of permanent storm sewer easement and a temporary construction easement for the High Trestle Trail Extension - SW Ordnance Road to SW Magazine Road project in Ankeny, Iowa.  (Ankeny High School - Ankeny Community School District, 1155 SW Cherry Street)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The action before the council is the adoption of a Resolution accepting a permanent storm sewer easement and a temporary construction easement from Ankeny Community School District at Ankeny High School, 1155 SW Cherry Street, to facilitate the construction of the High Trestle Trail Extension - SW Ordnance Road to SW Magazine Road project.
FISCAL IMPACT: Yes
The total compensation for the permanent storm sewer easement and the temporary construction easement is $2,175.00.  The cost for the easement is part of the project costs associated with the High Trestle Trail Extension - SW Ordnance Road to SW Magazine Road project included in the current Capital Improvement Program.
CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS:
Approve the motion to adopt a RESOLUTION accepting a permanent storm sewer easement and a temporary construction easement from the Ankeny Community School District at 1155 SW Cherry Street to facilitate the construction of the High Trestle Trail Extension - SW Ordnance Road to SW Magazine Road project in Ankeny, Iowa.
