SE Magazine Road Sidewalk Upgrade - Phase 3

Professional Services Agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The action before the City Council is the approval of a Professional Services Agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc., for design services needed for the SE Magazine Road Sidewalk Upgrade - Phase 3 project.
FISCAL IMPACT: No
This project's design and construction are included in the City's current CIP for 2019.  The design services were originally assumed to be completed by the City's engineering staff; however, a consultant will be used due to the engineering staffs' workload and to maintain the schedule.  
CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS:
Approve the Professional Services Agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc., for design services for the SE Magazine Road Sidewalk Upgrade - Phase 3 project in an amount not to exceed $38,200.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute said Agreement.
