The action before the City Council is the approval of a Professional Services Agreement with JEO Consulting Group, Inc., for the design and bidding phase services needed for the NW Irvinedale Drive Water Main Improvements Project.
The project is included in the City's 2019 - 2023 Capital Improvements Program. The scope of the project includes the design of a 12" water main to be installed along the east side of NW Irvinedale Drive from NW 36th Street north approximately 850 lineal feet to connect to the existing 12" water main. This will provide a second connection, looping our water system for the northwest portion of town.
The Municipal Utilities Department proposes to use JEO Consulting Group, Inc., to complete the necessary design and bidding phase services for the project. The scope of the engineering services and corresponding fees for the services are shown in the attached Engineering Services Agreement. The total fee for the engineering services will be in kind for this project as they want to have one of their engineers working on summer internship get valuable design experience.
