SUBJECT:
Consider motion to approve the Insurance Brokerage Agreement, for an additional one-year period, commencing on July 1, 2019 with LMC Insurance and Risk Management (LMC), 4200 University Avenue, Suite 200, West Des Moines, Iowa.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The current Broker Services Agreement with LMC is set to expire on June 30, 2019. The City Manager’s Office plans to evaluate several of its insurance programs in the coming year. Staff is recommending extending the agreement for an additional one-year period to provide continuity during the evaluation. 

FISCAL IMPACT: No
The amount of commission paid by Iowa Communities Assurance Pool (ICAP) and Iowa Municipal Workers Compensation Association (IMWCA) will remain unchanged.
CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS:
Approve the Insurance Brokerage Agreement with LMC of West Des Moines, Iowa.
