The District Association - Pizza Fest Event
Approval of Noise Permit - June 1, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Applicant is requesting approval of a noise permit for amplified sound for an outdoor Pizza Fest event on June 1, 2019 located in the Town Square - The District in Prairie Trail.

Pursuant to the City of Ankeny Code of Ordinances Chapter 44.06, if an event requiring a noise permit for sound equipment exceeds the hours of operation of the sound equipment, which shall be limited to six (6) hours the noise permit application must be approved by the City Council before the permit is issued.  The noise permit application is requesting a starting time of 4:00 and ending time of 11:00 p.m., exceeding the 6 hours of operation for sound equipment.
FISCAL IMPACT: No
CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS:
To approve the requested noise permit application with an ending time of 11:00 p.m.
