SUBJECT:
Consider motion to approve Change Order #1 increasing the contract amount by $27,507.20 to Alliance Construction Group for construction services on the S Ankeny Blvd and SE Shurfine Dr/SW Prairie Trail Pkwy Intersection Improvements project.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

Change Order #1 increasing the contract amount by $27,57.20  was necessary, due to:

    1.    needing additional asphalt material to pave the crossover pavement where the adjacent existing pavement was thicker than what available record drawings had indicated, and

 

2.    needing granular material to complete backfilling operations of storm sewer installed within an existing channel where available earthen material was unsuitable for backfilling purposes.
