EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
D.R. Horton - Iowa, LLC, property owner, is requesting the City Council initiate the rezoning of approximately 10 acres of land located at NW Abilene Road and NW 43rd Street per the letter submitted by the applicant. Ankeny Zoning Code, Chapter 196.04. Amendments, allows a rezoning to be initiated by motion of the City Council. The rezoning request is to amend the property from R-1 One-Family Residence District to R-2 One-Family and Two-Family Residence District.
