Kamala Harris- Noise Permit @ AMP, October 7, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM - Democratic Presidential Candidate Speaking Event 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

Applicant is requesting approval of a noise permit for amplified sound for a public speaking event proposed for October 7 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Ankeny Market and Pavilion (AMP) site.  This noise permit has been denied by the City Clerk pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 3, which states the applicant or site location for a noise permit event shall be limited to no more than six (6) permits annually.  Applications submitted that exceed the six (6) permits annually shall require approval by the City Council. 
FISCAL IMPACT: Yes
Payment of $50 for each Noise Permit issued.
CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS:
To approve the reversal of the noise permit for amplified sound for a Presidential Candidates speaking event proposed from 6 PM to 8 PM on October 7, 2019.
