SUBJECT:
Consider motion to approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement increasing the contract amount by $168,500.00 with Nilles Associates, Inc. for construction engineering services on the SW Des Moines Street - Magazine to 11th Street project. 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The scope of the construction engineering services and the corresponding fees are shown in the attached Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement.  A copy of the original Professional Services Agreement is also attached for reference.

 

The fee for the additional engineering services is $168,500.00. The original Professional Services Agreement for design engineering services is $241,500.00.  Adding Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement increases the total contract amount to $410,000.00.

 

It is recommended that the City Council approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Nilles Associates, Inc. in the amount of $168,500.00 for the SW Des Moines Street - Magazine to 11th Street project.
FISCAL IMPACT: No
This project is included in the City's 2019 - 2023 Capital Improvements Program for construction in 2019.
CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS:
