| Consider motion to adopt RESOLUTION adopting a schedule of permit fees and charges for certain permit activities as authorized by the City of Ankeny, Iowa, Municipal Code. |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: |
| Building permit fees including flat fees are reviewed annually for update and were last updated in 2019. Exhibit A now includes revised fees for Temporary Certificates of Occupancy and establishes fees for occupancy of buildings without a valid Certificate of Occupancy, building permit extensions and reactivation of expired building permits. |

| Assembly, Business and Institutional uses will experience an approximate 1% increase in construction valuation. Residential construction valuations and other use groups remain the same as in 2019. |
| CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS: |
| It is recommended that the Council take the following action: 1) adopt permit fee schedule - Exhibits 'A' (permit fee schedule) and 'B' (Building Valuation Data construction cost per square foot). |
