Ord 2009:

An Ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ankeny, Iowa, by amending provisions pertaining to water rates.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The ordinance under consideration raises water rates by 8.50 percent, effective April 1, 2020.  The increase is necessary to fund the 10 percent increase in wholesale water purchased from Des Moines Water Works and local infrastructure projects planned in the 2020 Capital Improvement Program.
