SUBJECT:
Consider motion to approve Change Order #1 decreasing the contract amount by $155,912.00 to Precision Underground Utilities, for construction services on the West First Street Joint Utility Trench project.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This contractor proposed to directionally bore the joint utility trench under NW Ash Drive and NW School Street. This installation method will reduce the need for much of the pavement removal and reconstruction and will not require the closures of the side streets. The installation of the GridSmart system as been omitted and the relocation of the bike rack has been removed.
