SUBJECT:
Consider motion to waive Heartland Area Lacrosse 2020 user fees for the Prairie Ridge Sports Complex.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Due to public safety concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic the Prairie Ridge Sports Complex has remained closed and was not available to be utilized by the Lacrosse Club. Each spring the Lacrosse Club runs a league program at the Complex consisting of practices and weekly games on fields 17-19 from approximately March 7 - May 31. With the fields not being available and the Lacrosse Club canceling their season, staff is recommended waiving their 2020 lease payment of $16,375.
