SUBJECT:
Consider motion to approve Change Order #1 increasing the contract amount by $34,106.40 to Jasper Construction Services, for construction services on the Westwinds Channel Flood Repair project.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This increase is due to soft and unsuitalbe soils at the base of Slough Area #2, and in the channel bottom of Area #3. In order to provide a stable base the unsuitable material was cored out and replaced with geo-grid and rock. Also additional rip-rap was needed.
