Consider motion to adopt RESOLUTION authorizing the purchase of a crane and service body for a Public Works Department Sign Truck (replace existing truck #275) in the amount of $179,621.00 to National Auto Fleet Group. 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

RESOLUTION authorizing the purchase of a crane and service body for a Public Works Department Sign Truck (replace existing truck #275) in the amount of $179,621.00 to National Auto Fleet Group.

 

Truck chassis purchase was approved on December 19, 2022. Delivery date is pending, but expected to be within FY 2024. The crane and service body subsequently will be mounted on the truck chassis by Aspen Equipment. 
FISCAL IMPACT: No
The purchase of the sign truck is included in the approved FY 2023 and FY 2024 budgets, with payment for chassis planned in FY 2023 and payment for crane and service body upfit in FY 2024.
CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS:
Adopt RESOLUTION authorizing the purchase of the crane and service body for the sign truck as specified.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL/COMMISSION/BOARD ACTION(S):
At the regular meeting on December 19, 2022, the Council approved the purchase of a truck chassis to be used for a new sign truck.
