Consider motion to approve the position description for GIS Specialist.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The position description for GIS Specialist is being revised under the section Entry Requirements and Skills. The current job description stated an associate's degree and three years of work experience in supporting GIS was required. Due to the difficulty in filling this position we are changing the requirements to a bachelor's degree with no experience or an associate's degree with two years experience. This should attract more candidates coming directly from college.
