Proposed Issuance of Not to Exceed $300,000 General Obligation Urban Renewal Bonds
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The not to exceed $300,000 General Obligation Urban Renewal Bonds (for urban renewal purposes) are being proposed to fund the Uptown Parking Improvements project in the 2023 Capital Improvement Program. The project is located in the 1991 City of Ankeny Urban Renewal Area.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Yes
The proposed General Obligation Urban Renewal Bonds (for urban renewal purposes) will be repaid with tax increment financing (TIF) revenues.
CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS:
Recommend the proposed issuance of not to exceed $300,000 General Obligation Urban Renewal Bonds.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL/COMMISSION/BOARD ACTION(S):
The 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program and financial plan were presented and reviewed by the City Council at the November 7, 2022 and November 14, 2022 Council Action Planning Sessions.
