On February 13, 2023, the Finance Department issued a request for proposal to seven vendors for HVAC services for all municipal buildings. Bids were received back from two of the seven vendors, with the recommendation for award going to the lowest bidder.

Based on results, which are shown in the following table, it is being recommended that the contract be awarded to Excel Mechanical Company Inc.:

The HVAC services agreement will be for three years, April 1, 2023, through March 31, 2026, with the option to extend the agreement for up to three additional one-year time periods.
