SEH has completed the design of the S. Ankeny Blvd. Transmission Main Project and it has recently bid with award to Granite Excavating for installation of the 24" transmission main.
The Municipal Utilities Department proposes to continue using SEH to provide construction services for this project. The scope of the construction services along with the corresponding fees are shown in the attached Amendment No.1 to the Professional Services Agreement. A copy of the original Professional Services agreement is attached for reference. The fee for the construction services for the S. Ankeny Blvd. Transmission Main Project is $222,600.00. The original Professional Services Agreement for design engineering and bidding services was $216,800.00. Adding Amendment #1 to the Professional Services Agreement increases the total contract to $439,400.00.
It is recommended that the City Council approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with SEH in the amount of $222,600.00 for the S. Ankeny Blvd. Transmission Main Project. |
