In 1995 the Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED) awarded the owners of property located at 2402 SE Hulsizer Road in the City of Ankeny a $48,000 forgivable loan under IDED's CEBA program. This loan was secured with a mortgage on the property during the three year term of the award. This City sponsored the CEBA application and was included as a mortgagee.
The property is now in the process of being sold and this mortgage showed up during the title search by the prospective buyer. The terms of the 1995 IDED award have been satisfied the and City and IDED have been asked to release the mortgage. |
