HR Green, Inc. has completed the design of the Oralabor Gateway Trail-SW State Street Underpass and SW Oralabor Road and SW State Street Safety Improvements project. The Public Works Department proposes to continue using HR Green, Inc. for the construction engineering services during construction of the project.
The duration of construction is two (2) years.
This includes review of the contractor's material submittals, survey and staking of the improvements, weekly progress meetings throughout the project, material testing, preparation of weekly reports of progress, preparation of monthly invoices on behalf of the contractor, daily observation of construction and preparation of as-builts at the conclusion of construction.
The scope of the construction engineering services and the corresponding fees are shown in the attached Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement. A copy of the original Professional Services Agreement and Amendment #1 are also attached for reference.
The fee for the construction engineering services is $457,313.00. The original Professional Services Agreement for design engineering services was $355,700.00, and Amendment #1 was $16,500.00. Adding Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement increases the total contract amount to $829,513.00
It is recommended that the City Council approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with HR Green, Inc in the amount of $457,313.00 for the Oralabor Gateway Trail-SW State Street Underpass and SW Oralabor Road and SW State Street Safety Improvements project. |
