SUBJECT:
Ord 2179: An Ordinance amending Chapter 142 Mobile Food Vendors of the Municipal Code of the City of Ankeny, Iowa, by amending provisions pertaining to scheduled violation. 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Ankeny Police Department in accordance with Municipal Code 142.02 Mobile Food Units, will be given the authority to enforce violations of this section.  Failure to obtain a license in accordance with this section will now be declared a simple misdemeanor punishable by a fine of at least $100 plus surcharge and court costs.  
FISCAL IMPACT: Yes
All violations of any provision(s) of Section 142.03 are hereby declared simple misdemeanors punishable by a fine of at least $100 plus surcharge and court costs.

Accept first consideration of Ordinance 2179.
