Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no public location is possible. This meeting will be conducted as an electronic meeting. The Plan and Zoning Commission and City staff will participate by electronic conferencing.There will be a time for public comments during the meeting or comments may be sent by email to bfuglsang@ankenyiowa.gov no later than 5:30 p.m. on 6/16/2020. All comments received will be presented during the public hearing.

Plan and Zoning Commission regular meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, following the Monday City Council meetings. All Plan and Zoning meetings are open to the public. Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) are available for persons with impaired hearing.

Consider MOTION to approve the site plan for 250 NW Ash Drive, Ankeny Senior Community Center.
3.1225 SW Oralabor Road - Starbucks Site Plan
Consider MOTION to approve the site plan for 1225 SW Oralabor Road, Starbucks, subject to City Council acceptance of the public ingress/egress easement agreement and public stormwater management facility maintenance covenant and permanent easement agreement.
4.1520 NW Irvinedale Drive - Hidden Creek Mixed-Use Site Plan
Consider MOTION to approve the site plan for Hidden Creek Mixed-Use 2020 located at 1520 NW Irvinedale Drive, subject to City Council acceptance of the public ingress/egress easement, public sidewalk easement, and storm water management facility maintenance covenant and permanent easement agreement.
5.3210 SE Corporate Woods Drive - Purfoods West Office Addition Site Plan
Consider MOTION to approve the PurFoods West Office Addition site plan located at 3210 SE Corporate Woods Drive, subject to recordation of a stormwater management facility maintenance covenant and permanent easement agreement.
6.5800 SE Delaware Avenue - Ryan Warehouse Site Plan
Consider MOTION to approve the site plan for 5800 SE Delaware Avenue, Ryan Warehouse, subject to City Council approval of the public stormwater management facility maintenance covenant and permanent easement agreement.
7.Corporate Woods Business Park Plat 5 Final Plat

Consider MOTION to recommend City Council approval of Corporate Woods Business Park Plat 5 Final Plat.

 

8.Carney Commercial Plat 1 Final Plat (County)
Consider MOTION to recommend City Council approval of Carney Commercial Plat 1 Final Plat, subject to applicable Polk County Subdivision requirements in lieu of the City of Ankeny Subdivision regulations.
Consider MOTION to approve the recommendations for Consent Agenda Item(s) #1 - #8.

G.PUBLIC HEARINGS:
Public Hearings are held during Plan and Zoning's regular meetings. The Chairperson opens the hearing with a statement of the subject being considered and asks if there is anyone present who wishes to speak for our against the proposed item. The Chairperson may require a time limit on the number of minutes each member of the public may speak, normally five minutes. Members of the public who wish to speak will be requested to step forward to the podium and must state their name and address. At the conclusion of all public testimony and questions and comments from the Commission on a subject, the public hearing will be closed and the item will be placed on the next agenda for the next regular meeting. At that meeting City Staff will present their report and the Commission will deliberate and act on the subject.
9.Polk County Aviation Authority request to rezone property from M-1, Light Industrial District to U-1, Conservation and Public Utility District
Consider MOTION to close the public hearing, and receive and file documents.

10.Deer Creek South Phase 3 Preliminary Plat
Consider MOTION to recommend City Council approval of the Deer Creek South Phase 3 Preliminary Plat, and acceptance of the public street names NE Country Meadow Drive, NE Doe Pointe Drive, NE Crossing Oaks Drive and NE Winchester Court.
